My bathroom faucet was barely spitting out water. I checked the aerator. It looked dirty, so I cleaned it. No change. Figured I just needed a replacement, so I swung by Matt’s Cash & Carry since it’s so close. They didn’t have the size. Lowe’s, where I actually bought the faucet, didn’t have it either. Home Depot finally had one that fit.
I enjoy shopping at Lowe’s. It’s nicer, less crowded, the people are friendlier. But none of that matters when they don’t stock the small stuff you actually need. Three stores for a $3 part. That’s the thing about home repairs. The big stuff is easy to find. It’s the little things that send you running across town.
