I need someone to hurt me emotionally so I can start writing again.  It just doesn't flow unless I listen to really sad music and ... type.  But even then, I am interrupted and can't start up again.  UGH!  Damn you!  I envy you!   ;D

There is a picture in there that looked very familiar. The fifth picture up in the Nepal pictures. In my cube here at work i have a similar picture from China, its on a calendar. Its a picture of Prayer Flags hung on clothes line of sorts.

very cool..

Really?  Does it say anywhere, Jonathan Clark as the photographer?

hmm, i will be sure to check if it says his name tomorrow!

So...have you checked?

I may not have been on that often, but I did miss it.  Whenever I have the time to surf the web, I do stop by and post a comment here or there.  :)  Thanks Sal.   Did you know your real name isn't Sal?  :D

At the end of the night a Marine leaves a bar.

Outside he sees a nun. He walks over to her and slaps her in the face. Then he punches her in the stomach and knocks her over.

He proceeds to kick her several times and when he's done he bends down to her and says, "Not as tough as a Marine, are you Batman?"

First of all, you all can replace "Friend, You," with whomever you want.

Secondly, you all have inspired me to rhyme, which I have NEVER done.  I am also positive, which I have never been.  Thank you all and I hope you enjoy my poem.
 :-*

Dear Friend,

I have stumbled over a comforting world within.
Which I feel endless tides of people's emotions.
I see they share my hatred that I hold selfishly in.
Without fear, I catch their waves, and ride the motions.

I journey through their tearful storms of pain.
And share the darkness that eats them from inside.
It begins from their heart, working to their veins.
Rushing to their thoughts, making sure love has died.

During my adventure, I am sure You understand,
In this same world, darkness is also forced to hide.
I've witnessed the gray clouds disappear as planned,
And You're holding my peers, leaving everything aside.

Many times, I've cursed You for not listening to me.
I've asked, why leave me alone to fearfully drown?
But being here, I have realized, You've never let me be.
From above, like a parent, you've been looking down.

When needed, you would hand me nails of bravery.
Making sure, when I fall, I learn to build a faithful boat.
Now I have sketches to share, so my peers can ride safely.
Then, I get on my knees and thank you for keeping us afloat.

If it wasn't for this world I have stumbled across,
I would not have experienced You teaching me,
That in our chaotic lives, we are never lost.
You are always there, watching us so carefully.

With Love,
ME

For your love I would die...
this are the word I would always hear and today I wonder if they were true.
For your love I would die...
this are the words that I would always hear when I...
would ask how much you love me.
would wonder how life would be for us.
Now that you left
I understand ....

Words are Words and the get erase in the wind

wow.   i love your poems.  i can only write out of being hurt.  yours are so positive, well other than dying but ... it is romantic.   ;)
