A Virtual Brain

this is kind of odd:
http://www.newsfactor.com/perl/story/20064.html

Seems like Miscrosoft is trying to develop away to store anything and everything of ones life to some sort of database.

Think of it this way.

Imagine being able to search the contents of your brain for something in particular. In this article they compare searching this brain as you would do a search on www.google.com.

The guy who is behind this idea is going through the process of storing everything on this Brain which they call MyLifeBits. Everything from recording his phonecalls to emails, to business trips.

in a way it is kind of kewl. Every now and then i like to go back in time and read some of the emails i have recieved or written. i like to go as far back as i can, but now its hard because crap gets erased. But with this virtual brain there will be somewhere to store and manage all this info.

its an interesting idea.

I might be the paranoid one, but something about a record of everything you have done in your life might come back to haunt ya. Even crap that seems innocent can become something that it shouldn't.
